Ordering DIY Wedding Flowers

Yes, even our DIY Flower Options save you work!

Trust us, we get it! Some of you enjoy working with flowers or just want to build some of your wedding or event flowers…just not maybe alllllllllll of them.

With Best Buds Flower Co, you can order 100% all DIY flowers from us or just some to add into one of our fresh flower collections. This gives you the best of both worlds and allows you to order exactly what you need.

Why are our DIY flowers better than you would find anywhere else, including other flower shops, big box stores, wholesalers or warehouse clubs?

Simple, we help you order the correct quantities from our vetted growers AND prep them for you saving you days of labor!

Here’s why our DIY flowers just make sense:

  • We always source the best growers both locally and nationally. We don’t just use a one-size-fits-all supplier no matter what season it is. Whenever possible, we source from local farms and growers to support local farming and help reduce the environmental footprint that happens from shipping flowers internationally.

  • How do you know you’re ordering the correct flowers and quantities? Nothing like the stress of wedding week combined with realizing you’re 6 centerpieces short. Our highly trained florists and designers will help you do the “flower math” to ensure you are ordering exactly what you need with a few extras to have for breakage or design mishaps.

  • When you get flowers from big box stores or wholesalers they are 100% un-prepped and need a minimum of 2-3 days of cleaning, cutting, and hydrating to get them to open and look full and healthy. Do you have all the equipment, boxes, cooler space, buckets, professional hydration floral food, and EXTRA time the week of your wedding to really nurture and babysit these flowers for days?

  • What happens when your warehouse club or grocery store flowers come in damaged, moldy, or just looking really puny and sad? This can happen as you’re buying a natural product and flowers are subject to draughts, floods, frost, etc. We don’t pass sad ugly flowers off to you. Our suppliers know not to even send those to us in the first place, and even as a worst case scenario, we have a wide variety of local growers to troubleshoot orders with. We deliver beautiful flowers whether they’re arranged or DIY. That’s our promise!

  • Do you know how much trash comes with flowers from a big supplier…big boxes, plastic wrap, and then all the organic material you have to strip from the flowers to get them to open and be design ready? It’s a lot and we have the composting and waste management systems to deal with all of this.

  • Each type of flower needs different techniques to get them prepped for design. We’ve been professional florists for over two decades so we know all the tips and tricks to get each bloom looking fabulous.

  • When you pick up your DIY wedding flowers from us, we’ve done days worth of dirty work for you so that you can literally go from pick-up to designing! Exactly what you want!
